Drop creatures into a shared container

Characters fall into the same play area, where their landing positions affect later drops. You choose the horizontal starting position, but gravity and collisions determine where the creature settles. Watch the movement after each drop rather than treating the container like a fixed tile grid.

Match by contact

Look for an identical creature already in the container. Aim to bring the incoming piece into contact with it. A nearby character may look like a promising target, but another piece can block the path. Check both the target and the space above it before releasing.

Make room for the next drop

A practical approach is to avoid building a narrow tower when a lower landing position is available. Keeping the pile accessible gives later pieces more ways to reach a match. If a creature is isolated behind a larger one, consider another target rather than repeatedly adding pieces to the same obstruction.

Plan around the new shape

A merge changes the arrangement. Let the new creature settle, then inspect the container again before your next move. The next best landing position may differ from the one you used previously. Careful pacing makes it easier to notice a new matching opportunity.
